KRENDEL LAB
Studying Physiological Roles of Class I Myosins
Work in the lab centers on the role of molecular motors, called myosins, in human health and disease. We are particularly interested in how defects in the genes encoding myosins cause inherited kidney diseases, as well as in myosin contribution to cell migration and invasion during cancer metastasis and immune response.
